The guided tour answers every press

Starting the tour could look like nothing happened for up to ten seconds, restarting it after a dismissal did nothing at all, and a mid-tour step could leave the page unclickable. All three are fixed.

1.16.7

The tour walks you through the five moves that matter — search an address, confirm it on the map, add it to a portfolio, set up the run, start Deep Search — with a real button on each step.

Getting into it was the problem.

  • "Take a quick tour" responds immediately. It used to wait for the step's target to appear, which could take up to ten seconds of a page that looked broken.
  • Pressing it again restarts the tour. After dismissing the first step, the launcher previously did nothing at all.
  • Steps stay on the page they describe. The setup steps no longer follow you to the portfolio list and wait for a panel that is not there — and they are skipped entirely on a property that has already been researched.
  • No more trapped page. A step whose target disappeared — including when you start the run it is pointing at — used to leave the page unclickable. Escape also ends the tour properly, rather than leaving it invisibly running.
