The guided tour works from the keyboard

When a tour step asks you to press the highlighted control, pressing it with Enter, Space, or a screen reader now clears the tour overlay the way a click does, so the page, or the dialog the control opens, stays usable.

Some tour steps hand the next move to you: press the highlighted control, and the tour steps aside so you can use what it opens. That used to work only for a mouse or a tap.

  • Enter and Space on the highlighted control now count as a press. Typing in a highlighted field is still just typing.
  • A screen reader activating the control gets the same treatment.

If you take the tour from the keyboard or with a screen reader, it now behaves the way it always did for a mouse.
