Public records stick to the right building, with clickable sources

Public records now only show rows for the property you asked about, label records from a neighbouring building, link every cited record to its source page in chat, and show readable dates.

1.26.1

What changed

  • The right building only. Some city datasets ignored the map search and returned records from across the city; they are now searched by address, or skipped when they can't be. Street matching no longer mixes up similar names (Niagara Square vs Niagara Falls Boulevard).
  • Nearby buildings are labelled. A record from the building next door carries a Nearby building tag instead of passing for this property's.
  • Sources you can click in chat. Each record chat cites links to the publisher's page, and a Sources checked list shows every dataset asked and whether it answered, came back empty, or was unavailable.
  • Readable records. Dates show as calendar dates, summaries no longer show stray formatting marks, and a source that holds more records than shown says so.
  • Chat looks up any address you name, not just the property on screen.
  • Clearer status. A property outside current coverage says so, and an older report shows that public records weren't part of it rather than "Pending".
