What changed
Data research draws from the same credit balance as everything else in your organisation, so it no longer has a budget of its own.
- No monthly cap, no confirmation step. Both settings are gone from Billing → Data research. Your credit balance is the only limit, as it is for Intel Reports, chat and Excel builds.
- Lookups aren't billed separately yet. Premium public-record and connected-account lookups still run when the source switches allow them; they are not charged per call today. When they are, they will draw from this same balance and show here.
- Sources. The two switches that decide which sources lookups may use, Allow premium sources and Allow connected-account fetches, are now in their own Sources section. Org admins change them; everyone else sees them read-only.
- Tidier Billing card. The data-research row in the Credit balance card lines up with the text above it, with even spacing around it.
