Tax History now opens with what the whole building pays in property tax a year.
- Official when it can be. If the official record has the building’s bill, that is the figure.
- Otherwise an estimate, and it says so. When only some units’ bills are on record, we scale them to the whole building by square feet or unit count; our AI then checks the result against the building and its area — for example a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes agreement, where unit bills cover only the land — and adjusts it or estimates the figure itself when the records cannot support one.
- Every figure carries its basis. The method, a range, the reasoning and the sources it used are shown with it. An estimate is never shown as an official bill, and the table below still lists official figures only.
