The Relm Pro taskpane is the panel that appears on the right side of Excel after you click Relm Pro on the Home tab. This page is a quick orientation to what's in it.
Top bar
- Back arrow — returns to the previous list (shown once you've left the Portfolios screen).
- Organization — the organization you're working in. If you belong to more than one, it's a menu you can use to switch.
- Sign out — ends the add-in session.
Portfolios and properties
The taskpane opens on Portfolios, a list of your organization's portfolios with their property counts. Click a portfolio to see its Properties — address, property type, units, year built, and a bar showing how many research sections are complete. Click a property to open it.
Property screen
Chat with Data
Chat with Data opens a compact version of the property's chat. It's scoped to the section of the worksheet you're on — open it from a Comps sheet and you're chatting about Comparables. Use the menu at the top to reopen an earlier conversation, or the plus button to start a new one. Taskpane chats are private to you, and they're the same Research chats you see in the web app.
Research Data
- Run Intel Report — shown when some sections haven't been run yet. Runs started here use credits the same way as runs started in the web app, charged when the run completes.
- Import All Data to Excel — appears once all six research sections are ready. See Import All Data.
- A card for each section — Basic Info, Tax History, Points of Interest, Neighborhood, Comparables, and Unit Details — showing its status (Data Ready, Running, Not Run, or Error). Click Import to Excel on a ready section to import just that section, or Open in Browser on a section that hasn't run to open the property in the web app.
Financial Analysis
- Run Pro Forma Analysis — shown when the property doesn't have a pro-forma yet.
- Pro Forma card — Import to Excel brings the 10-year model into your workbook (see Pro-forma in Excel), and Push to Relm syncs your edits back (see Push-back to cloud).
Property switching
Use the back arrow to return to the Properties or Portfolios list and pick another property. Doing so:
- Loads the new property's sections and statuses.
- Opens chat in the new property's history.
- Does not modify your worksheet — Excel content is yours, controlled by the import/push-back flows explicitly.
Sign-out & re-sign-in
Click Sign out at the top of the taskpane to drop the session. The taskpane returns to the Sign In screen. See Sign in to the Excel add-in.
