Common issues

Reset or re-run a section

When data on a property section looks wrong or stale, here's how to clear it and re-run the agent that produced it.

If a property section (Basic Info, Taxes, Comps, Units, etc.) shows wrong, stale, or empty data, the fix is almost always to re-run that section. This article walks through how, when to use it, and what gets preserved.

When to re-run a section

  • The numbers look obviously wrong (e.g., "Year built: 1900" for a 2018 build).
  • The section is empty after Deep Research finished.
  • A document you uploaded after the initial run hasn't been incorporated.
  • You changed Basic Info inputs (e.g., unit count) that downstream sections depend on.

If everything looks right but you just want to refresh data, you don't need to re-run — Deep Research data is generally stable until your inputs change.

How to re-run a single section

  1. Open the property.
  2. Scroll to the section in question (Basic Info, Taxes, Comps, etc.).
  3. Click the section's ⋮ menu.
  4. Choose Re-run section.
  5. Confirm.

The agent for that section starts in the background. You can watch its progress in the per-section header. See Per-section reruns for the full UI.

What gets preserved

When you re-run a section:

  • Your manual edits are preserved by default. The fresh agent run is staged; your edits remain on top.
  • A backup of the previous run is kept in Version history.
  • Other sections are not affected. Re-running Comps doesn't touch Basic Info.

What gets discarded

If you choose Reset & re-run (a more aggressive variant in the same menu):

  • Your manual edits to that section are discarded.
  • The fresh agent run becomes the source of truth.
  • Version history still has the old version if you need it back.

Use Reset & re-run when you specifically want to throw away your edits — e.g., you were experimenting and want a clean slate.

Re-running everything

To re-run all sections at once, use the property-level Run Deep Research button. This queues every section's agent. See Run, queue, and cancel.

This consumes Deep Research credits the same as the initial run.

When re-running doesn't help

If a re-run produces the same wrong data:

  • Bad upstream data — the source dataset may be wrong. Use Edit mode to correct it manually.
  • Document not indexed — check the Documents tab; an unindexed doc isn't visible to agents. See Indexing & processing status.
  • Agent bug — if the data is consistently wrong across re-runs and your inputs are correct, report it. Include the property URL.

Locks and re-runs

Re-running a section requires the edit lock on the property. If someone else is editing, you'll see "Locked by [user]". See Property locks.
