The property workspace is where most of your time in Relm Pro is spent. This page explains the layout: what's on it, what's clickable, and what each part does.
Overall layout
When you open a property, the screen is split into three pieces:
- The header — breadcrumb (Portfolio → Property), the property address, and any active research / save / lock indicators.
- The main area — the section cards on the overview, or the deep-dive subpage when you click into a section.
- The chat panel — pinned to the right, AI analyst grounded in this property's data.
The header and chat persist as you click between sections; the main area swaps content.
The overview — section cards
The overview is a grid of section cards, each one a tile summarizing one dimension of the property:
- Basic Info — address, year built, asset class, units, square footage, parcel.
- Taxes — assessed value history, tax bill, special assessments.
- Points of Interest — schools, transit, retail anchors, employment centers.
- Area Stats — demographics, income, employment, growth indicators.
- Comps — recent sales and asking comps in the submarket.
- Units — the unit-by-unit table with rents, sizes, occupancy.
- AI Summary — an executive summary of the deal.
- Documents — your uploads, indexed and searchable.
- Financial — the 10-year pro-forma.
- Market Analysis — submarket trends, supply pipeline, rent trajectory.
Each card has a "Run / Re-run" affordance and a status pill (Idle, Running, Done, Failed). Click into the card to open the deep-dive subpage.
The deep-dive subpage
Clicking a card opens a full-width subpage for that section, e.g. /dash/portfolios/.../properties/.../taxes. Each subpage has:
- A Section page header with section title, run/re-run button, history button, and (for admins) a force-unlock button if someone is editing.
- The full data view, with citation chips on every number.
- An edit affordance — click to enter Edit Mode.
Use the back arrow or the breadcrumb to return to the overview.
The chat panel
The chat panel is on the right of every property workspace and contextually scoped to the page you're on. On the overview it answers about the property as a whole; on a subsection (e.g. Financial) it's tuned to that section.
Each section keeps its own conversation, so jumping to Taxes doesn't clutter the chat you started about Comps. See Chat with your deal.
The save bar (Edit Mode)
When you flip Edit Mode on, a save bar docks at the bottom of the screen. It tracks every change you've made across the workspace and lets you save them all in one transaction or discard them. See Edit mode and the save bar.
Locks
If a teammate is actively editing the same property, you'll see a lock indicator and a banner explaining who has the lock. Locks expire automatically after a short idle period; admins can force-unlock if someone walks away. See Property locks.
Deep Research controls
The first time you open a property, the workspace looks empty. Click Start Deep Research in the setup panel to dispatch the agents. Once a run is in progress you can:
- Watch each section card flip from "Pending" to "Running" to "Done" as agents finish.
- Cancel an individual section's run from its card.
- Cancel all sections at once from the property header.
- Re-run a single section after editing inputs.
