Sign in and sign out

How sign-in works in Relm Pro — Google, email magic link, password, and where your session lives.

Relm Pro uses a SOC 2-compliant identity provider. Your sign-in options, multi-factor setup, and session management all run through that provider's infrastructure. This page covers what that looks like in practice.

Sign-in options

Three ways in:

  • Sign in with Google — fastest. SSO, no password to remember.
  • Sign in with email — a magic-link / one-time code sent to your address.
  • Sign in with email + password — old-school, fully supported.

You can use any combination; once an account is created, all enabled methods work.

Where to sign in

Sessions

A successful sign-in creates an authenticated session, stored in a secure cookie on relm.ai. The session is good for about 30 days of activity.

You can have multiple active sessions across devices (e.g. desktop browser + Excel + phone browser). Each is tracked independently.

Sign out

In the web app, click your avatar (top-right) → Sign out. The session for that device is revoked immediately.

To sign out everywhere — all browsers, all Excel installs, all sessions — go to Settings → Sessions and click Sign out everywhere. This is the right button after a lost device or suspected credential exposure.

Switching accounts

If you have multiple Relm accounts (e.g. one for your firm, one for a side fund), use the avatar menu's account switcher rather than signing out and back in. Multiple concurrent accounts in the same browser are supported.

Account recovery

If you can't sign in:

  • Forgot password? Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in page. We'll email you a reset link.
  • Lost access to your email? Contact our support; we'll work with you to verify identity through other channels.
  • MFA backup codes? See Multi-factor authentication for backup-code recovery.
