Upgrade or downgrade

Most teams start on Self-Serve and move to Enterprise as their pipeline grows. A few move the other way during slow seasons. This page walks through both directions.

Self-Serve → Enterprise

1. On /pricing, click Talk to sales under Enterprise (or email sales@relm.ai).
2. Schedule a 30-minute call with sales (Enterprise pricing is quoted, not self-checkout).
3. After the call, we send a contract.
4. On signature, Relm flips your org to Enterprise and the existing $49/month subscription is canceled.

What happens to your data: nothing changes. Same properties, same portfolios, same chat history, same uploads. The plan flag changes server-side; the UI updates the next time you load.

What about my credit balance? Enterprise is metered too. When your Enterprise plan starts, your balance is topped up to at least 5,000 credits (a higher balance is kept as is), and more credits are added with each paid invoice. Enterprise credits never expire.

Pro-rated mid-month? Yes. If you upgrade mid-month, the unused portion of your Self-Serve subscription is credited toward the Enterprise contract.

Enterprise → Self-Serve

This is rarer (Enterprise is annual by default) but supported.

1. Reach out to your account contact or sales@relm.ai.
2. We confirm you understand the limits — 1 portfolio, 1,000 credits/month (banked up to 4,000, with top-up packs available).
3. At the end of your current Enterprise term (or at a contractually-agreed downgrade date), we flip you to Self-Serve.

What happens to my extra portfolios? You keep all of them and can keep working in them. The Self-Serve limit only stops you from creating new portfolios once you're at the plan's limit.

We don't delete data on downgrade.

Mid-cycle proration

• Upgrade mid-cycle: unused Self-Serve days are credited toward Enterprise.
• Downgrade mid-cycle: the downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle. You don't get a refund for unused Self-Serve days mid-cycle.

What's not changeable mid-cycle

• The monthly credit grant. The 1,000/month grant is fixed once it lands — if you need more mid-cycle, buy a top-up pack on the Billing page instead.

Seats are the exception: contact support to add or remove Self-Serve seats at any time — the change is prorated within the current cycle.

What about adding the Excel add-in

The Excel add-in is included in both plans — you don't need to upgrade to Enterprise to use it. Install via AppSource.
