Upgrade or downgrade

Move between Self-Serve and Enterprise without losing data, with prorations explained.

Most teams start on Self-Serve and move to Enterprise as their pipeline grows. A few move the other way during slow seasons. This page walks through both directions.

Self-Serve → Enterprise

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Plan.
  2. Click Upgrade to Enterprise.
  3. You'll be routed to schedule a 30-minute call with sales (Enterprise pricing is quoted, not self-checkout).
  4. After the call, we send a contract.
  5. On signature, Relm flips your org to Enterprise and the existing $49/month subscription is canceled.

What happens to your data: nothing changes. Same properties, same portfolios, same chat history, same uploads. The plan flag changes server-side; the UI updates the next time you load.

What about my pro-forma credits balance? Enterprise has no credit accounting — your remaining balance is moot. Generate as many pro-formas as you want.

Pro-rated mid-month? Yes. If you upgrade mid-month, the unused portion of your Self-Serve subscription is credited toward the Enterprise contract.

Enterprise → Self-Serve

This is rarer (Enterprise is annual by default) but supported.

  1. Reach out to your account contact or sales@relm.ai.
  2. We confirm you understand the limits — 1 portfolio, 3 pro-forma credits/month.
  3. At the end of your current Enterprise term (or at a contractually-agreed downgrade date), we flip you to Self-Serve.

What happens to my extra portfolios? If you have 5 portfolios on Enterprise and downgrade to Self-Serve (limit 1), you keep all 5 visible but only 1 is "active" — you'll be prompted to pick which. The others go into a read-only state.

We don't delete data on downgrade. Read-only portfolios can be re-activated by upgrading back to Enterprise (or by deleting the active portfolio first to free a slot).

Mid-cycle proration

  • Upgrade mid-cycle: unused Self-Serve days are credited toward Enterprise.
  • Downgrade mid-cycle: the downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle. You don't get a refund for unused Self-Serve days mid-cycle.

What's not changeable mid-cycle

  • The number of seats. Adding/removing seats on Self-Serve takes effect immediately and prorates within the current cycle.
  • The Self-Serve credit balance. Credits are "locked in" once granted that month.

What about adding the Excel add-in

The Excel add-in is included in both plans — you don't need to upgrade to Enterprise to use it. Install via AppSource.
